Change in blind score rule:
Instead of allowing a team to pick anyone not present, as a blind bowler(s), the team must select an absent bowler from their roster with the most games bowled. If two blinds are needed then the next bowler with the most number of games is selected.
Change in vacant bowler rule:
Example:
| Your team | Bowler 1 average 110 |
Opposing vacant bowler score - 100 |
| Bowler 2 average 120 |
Opposing vacant bowler score - 110 | |
| Bowler 3 average 130 | Opposing vacant bowler score - 120 | |
| Bowler 4 average 140 |
Opposing vacant bowler score - 130 |
So for Bowler 1, if Bowler 1 bowls within 10 pins of their average, say a 105, they beat their opposing vacant bowler.
Each opposing vacant bowler will have your handicap so Bowler 1’s opposing vacant bowler will have the same handicap as Bowler 1 and so on. The vacant team’s team handicap should be the same as your team handicap since you are bowling against yourself.
