CALL FOR NOMINATIONS

The Patent and Trademark Office Society Election Committee will be accepting nominations for candidates seeking to serve on The BOARD OF DIRECTORS as an officer or a representative.

Nominating petitions will be available and accepted by the Election Committee between December 8-15.

Nominations will be accepted for the following positions:

President
Vice President
Secretary
Administrator
Treasurer
Technology Center Representatives (2 from each TC; 1600; 1700/2900; 2100, 2400, 2600, 2800, 3600, 3700) - 16
At-Large Representatives - 10
CFO/CAO/CIO/SIRA Representatives -1
BPAI Representative - 1
Trademark Representatives - 2
Director’s Office/OGC/External Affairs Representative - 1
OPLA/OPQA/All others not specified - 1

Interested parties should visit the PTOS website (http://ptos.org) click on Committee and then Election) or contact one of the below committee members in order to obtain a nominating petition. Completed nominating petitions must be hand-delivered to one of these Election Committee Members by 3:00pm on December 15th 2008.

Voting will take place From January 6-8.

Prior to the start of elections, ballots will be posted on the PTOS website, or you may obtain one from one of the Election Committee Members listed above.
