Donate your unwanted goods on USPTO Day

USPTO Day, PTOS, and WorkLife to Sponsor Annual Goods Donation Drive October 1, 2025

USPTO Day, the USPTO Worklife Team, and the Patent and Trademark Office Society will host a goods collection drive in conjunction with USPTO Day on Wednesday, October 1.

Please drop off unwanted household items at the Salvation Army truck located on Eisenhower Avenue from 8 am - 4 pm

Please drop off animal items at the Animal Welfare League of Alexandria (AWLA) table located on the northwest corner of the Jefferson Building from 11 am - 1 pm - Visit https://alexandriaanimals.org/shop-to-support/ to see a list of items AWLA is seeking

Lions Recycle for Sight will be collecting unwanted glasses at the USPTO Day Command Center Table located at the north side of the Madison East Building from 12:30 pm - 3 pm

Receipts for donations available to Salvation Army and AWLA donors
