Tutorial and Discussion on Blockchain Technologies

Please join us for a tutorial and informal discussion on blockchain technologies with Jerry Ma, PTOS member and Director of Emerging Technology at the USPTO.

The tutorial will cover introductory topics, such as cryptographic primitives, origination conditions, and double spend, to help provide a working knowledge of how centralized and decentralized blockchain systems operate. The tutorial will be followed by a synopsis of emerging topics in blockchain and intellectual property, with ample time reserved for discussion and Q&A.
