     Title: Call For Nominations

The Patent and Trademark Office Society Election Committee will be accepting nominations for candidates seeking to serve on {cms_selflink page='34' text='The BOARD OF DIRECTORS'} as an officer or a representative.  Nominating petitions will be available and accepted by the {cms_selflink page='41' text='Election Committee'} until December 20^th.

Nominations will be accepted for the following positions:

President

Vice President

Secretary

Administrator

Treasurer

Technology Center Representatives

(2 from each TC; 1600/2900; 1700; 2100, 2600, 2800, 3600, 3700) - 14

At-Large Representatives - 10

CFO/CAO/CIO/SIRA Representatives -1

BPAI Representative - 1

Trademark Representatives - 2

Director’s Office/OGC/External Affairs Representative - 1

OPLA/OPQA/All others not specified - 1

Interested parties should visit the PTOS website (http://ptos.org, click on Committee and then Election) or contact one of the below committee members in order to obtain a nominating petition. Completed nominating petitions must be hand-delivered to one of these Election Committee Members by 5:00pm on December 20^th 2006:

Please Note – Elections are scheduled for January 10 through January 12, 2007.  Prior to the start of elections, ballots will be posted on the PTOS website, or you may obtain one from one of the Election Committee Members listed above.
