How to Participate

1.    YouTube: Search YouTube for “Wine Broski” when the lecture time has come and it will populate with the link. This is perfect for anyone that wishes to just watch and not participate in the conversation or webcam interactive portions.

2.    WebEx:

a.    You can use your work computer

b.    You can send the link from your work computer to your personal device and call in

                                       i.    Audio Cell Phone “Call in”: Easiest, but the quality won’t be as good and it is a little awkward to be on the phone and webcast as well

                                     ii.    Audio Google Voice “Call in”: Register a number on Google Voice, Use GChat @ www.gmail.com to place the call. This will allow your computer microphone and speakers

HOW TO SET UP GOOGLE VOICE ON YOUR PERSONAL DEVICE:

Step 1: Go to Google Voice. If you have a gmail account great! If not, please make a gmail account. You can then register for a Google number. 

Step 2: Log into www.gmail.com and sign in with your account. 

Step 3: Launch WebEx in a separate browser window on your computer.

Step 4: When WebEx asks for "call me" give it your new google voice number.

Result: Your computer speakers and microphone will be utilized for the meeting! 

ProTip: Utilization of the Logitech Webcam on your personal device during the live stream can give you the ability to adjust the camera angle easily to create a wonderful frame. Make sure that if you put the webcam far away, but your laptop is close to you, using the microphone on the laptop will be better than the microphone from the webcam!
