Topic: Shiraz (also known as Syrah) from South Australia, specifically Barossa Valley

Dry, Full bodied wine with higher tannins than acid

Strong enough to hold its own with grilled veggies, with a healthy seasoning of middle eastern spices, or dark meats.

This wine can be just as delightful when paired with deep conversations & good friends. 

During the lecture portion we will discuss Australian wine

Then a deeper dive into Barossa Valley & Eden Valley

Coming out of the weeds with a discussion of the Shiraz grape

Finishing with wine tasting notes on the wine I'll be drinking!
