Sept 3rd @7:30ET – Boxwood Winery Guest speaker and BYOB(ordeaux Blend) It’s International Cabernet Day! What better way than celebrate than to look at the father & son duo, Cabernet Franc and Cabernet Sauvignon. We will have a guest speaker from Middleburg AVA’s Boxwood Winery! Guided tasting will be on the award winning 2015 Boxwood Reserve. I’m excited to hear a first-hand account of this crazy 2020 vintage as well as to discuss adapting to the challenges presented by Covid. Stay till the end of the lecture as we will discuss the upcoming Oct-Jan lectures and what we have in store for the people who are interested in learning more about wine. After the formal part of the lecture, feel free to stick around to open your own Cabernet bottle and share with the group similarities and differences of your specific bottle.
