Celebrating Constitution Day

Join USPTO Military Association (UMA) and the Patent and Trademark Office Society (PTOS) on Tuesday, September 13 from noon-1pm (ET) to celebrate the signing of the US Constitution by the delegates to the Constitutional Convention on September 17, 1787. Through the adoption of this written constitution, a new nation was formed and brought a diverse group together to protect, inspire, and support individual property rights. Through rigorous discussion, debate and compromise, this document was created. It has inspired people and nations, and continues to serve as a beacon of hope for people. Please join us in celebrating Constitution Day with distinguished guests Deputy General Counsel Will Covey, Chief Administrative Officer Frederick Steckler, Deputy Chief Trademark Judge Mark. A. Thurmon, and Patent Trial and Appeal Board Judge Janet Gongola. This is a hybrid event; in-person and remote attendance is available.
