Pulitzer Prize winning play “Clybourne Park”,
Friday, July 29, 2011, 8PM, at Woolly Mammoth Theatre.

A white community in 1950’s Chicago splinters over the black family about to move in.

Fast-forward to present day gentrification and the same house represents very different demographics as we climb through the looking-glass of Lorraine Hansberry’s classic A Raisin in the Sun.

Hilarious and horrifying neighbors pitch a battle over territory and legacy that reveals how far our ideas about race and property have evolved—or have they?

And just what is the community’s responsibility toward veterans and other residents with disabilities, who can’t afford to move away when neighbors make them feel unwelcome?

Appropriate for ages 14 and up.

The price for our rear balcony seats is $33.75 per ticket.

Please use the PTOS reservation system (http://ptos.org/reservations/catalog/index.php) to reserve your ticket or get on the waiting list.
