New policies regarding your Journal Subscription

PTOS Members,
Due to a substantial amount of post office returns, the Journal has recently implemented some changes in how missing issue requests and requests for issues missed due to address changes that we have not been notified of will be fulfilled.
Here are the new policies, in effect as of March 2007:
Missing issues that are a result of an address change in which the Journal has not been notified of the change will be fulfilled, but for the first issue, there will be a $5 shipping and handling fee (more for foreign subscribers). This is to cover the cost of the Journal that the post office has destroyed, as well as the original and return postage charged for that Journal.
Additional issues, after the most recent month missed, will be sent for the price of $10 per issue (more for foreign subscribers), as reprints that are necessary as a result of re-sending our back stock may result in reprint fees from our publisher. Please note that your subscription may be suspended for address returns in which there is no forwarding address.
Missing issues not due to address changes must be claimed within two months of the date of publication to be guaranteed fulfillment. For example, a missed issue that published in March must be claimed by the end of May. Missing issues not claimed within this deadline may be fulfilled, subject to availability, for the cost of $10 per Journal (more for foreign subscribers) plus any additional shipping charges.
We appreciate your subscription, and want to insure that we can continue to send a Journal to all members without the need for additional dues. We hope that these new policies will enable the Journal to continue to do so.
