The Patent and Trademark Office Society Election Committee will be accepting nominations for candidates seeking to serve on The BOARD OF DIRECTORS as an officer or a representative.

Nominating petitions will be available and accepted by the Election Committee between December 11-19.

Nominations will be accepted for the following positions:

* President
* Vice President
* Secretary
* Administrator
* Treasurer
* Technology Center Representatives (2 from each TC; 1600/2900; 1700; 2100, 2600, 2800, 3600, 3700) - 14
* At-Large Representatives - 10
* CFO/CAO/CIO/SIRA Representatives -1
* BPAI Representative - 1
* Trademark Representatives - 2
* Director’s Office/OGC/External Affairs Representative - 1
* OPLA/OPQA/All others not specified - 1

Interested parties should visit the PTOS website (http://ptos.org) click on Committee and then Election) or contact one of the below committee members in order to obtain a nominating petition. Completed nominating petitions must be hand-delivered to one of these Election Committee Members by 3:00pm on December 19th 2007.

Voting will take place From January 7-9

Prior to the start of elections, ballots will be posted on the PTOS website, or you may obtain one from one of the Election Committee Members listed above.
