Tour of George Washington Masonic Natl Memorial
The PTOS Education Committee is pleased to offer a guided tour of
The George Washington Masonic National Memorial
3:30 to 5 p.m. on Thursday, August 27
101 Callahan Drive, Alexandria, Virginia 22301
If you missed our earlier tour in July, here’s your second chance! Join us after work on Thursday, August 27th, for a guided visit to this Alexandria landmark. The Masonic Memorial was built starting in 1922, as a monument to George Washington in his role as a Mason. The tour includes many fascinating rooms describing the history and symbolism of Masonry, concluding with a bird’s-eye view of Alexandria from the observation deck. Afterwards, you’ll have a bit of time to explore the building on your own.
The tour is $10 per person (admission fee of $15 minus a $5 PTOS subsidy) for a maximum of 20 PTOS members; please purchase your ticket here: PTOS Online Reservations.
Free parking is available in the Memorial’s lot. No Other Time is available for this event.
